Biking

Challenging terrain and awesome outlooks define the Aspen wilderness areas. Aspen has plenty of mountain biking and road biking trails that range from beginner to advanced- including trails to the popular Maroon Bells.

Hiking

Over ¾ of the Aspen district is compromised of wilderness area with literally hundreds of hiking trails and destinations. From lakes to rivers to mountain peaks, trails can take hours or days to complete – truly a hikers paradise!
